The Iwataya main store, a long-established department store in Fukuoka, is hosting a contemporary art exhibition featuring a diverse lineup of works by young artists and masters from Japan and abroad. The exhibition is set in an art space produced by artists and galleries from Japan and abroad, with works recommended by the Iwataya on display. The exhibition includes “Yayoi Kusama and Her Friends,” featuring the works of the internationally renowned contemporary artist Yayoi Kusama. The exhibition runs from March 8 to 14 and is located on the first floor of the Iwataya main building. Visitors will have the opportunity to view a range of valuable works, including her signature motif “pumpkins” and autographs.
