A special exhibition aimed at deepening the exchange of contemporary art between Taiwan and Japan will be held in both Fukuoka and Taiwan. The event will kick off with a group exhibition in Fukuoka, featuring artists from Taiwan. Curated by independent curator Huang De-xin, the exhibition will showcase the work of 12 artists from Hantoo Art Group, an influential collective in Taiwan known for supporting young artists. This exhibition presents the current state of contemporary art in Taiwan.
Additionally, submissions are now open for the “Taiwan Exchange Exhibition” scheduled for November. Supported by Fukuoka City, this initiative aims to enhance international activities for Fukuoka artists by fostering exchanges with avant-garde artists, curators, and other art professionals from Taiwan.
