Tango is a designated UNESCO intangible cultural heritage, and Dec. 11 is “Tango Day”! Here in Fukuoka, tango the night away at this special event organized with the support of NPO Tiempo Iberoamericano. There will be a screening of German Kral’s creative documentary ‘Our Last Tango’ which discusses the basics of tango while showing the lives of two legendary Argentine tango dancers. This will be followed by the Milonga Show with must-see performances from internationally known tango partners Rocio Leguizamón and German Filipeli as well as Carolina Alberici and Enrique Morales who are currently active in Nagoya. Enjoy the authentic milonga atmosphere with Argentinian tapas and wine!
