Enjoy a tram ride through the streets of Kumamoto City while sipping beer, wine, soft drinks! The Kumamoto City Transportation Bureau is running a special daily chartered tram service from July until the end of September. The two-hour service is run on a 28-seat passenger car (including a driver!), and is only available for one group of passengers per day at ¥18,000/group. Guests are encouraged to bring their own food and drink (as well as garbage bags for burnable waste and cans/pet bottles) and enjoy themselves. August reservations are open until Jul. 15 by post card or e-mail. September reservations will open between Aug. 1 ~ Aug. 15.
