This exhibition features over 500 works by renowned manga artist and illustrator Hisashi Eguchi, known for his realistic depictions of modern urban life. Active since the 1980s, Eguchi has created illustrations for magazines, record covers, and advertisements, with his vibrant, fashion-forward style resonating across generations. As he approaches his 50th year in the industry, this large-scale exhibition includes large canvas pieces and original manga manuscripts. It highlights Eguchi’s pop art, rooted in Japanese manga culture, positioning it as a key influence in Asian pop culture and showcasing his unique appeal and artistic talent.
