This special exhibition was put together to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Albert Einstein’s Nobel Prize in Physics, which he received in 1921. Interestingly, Einstein visited Fukuoka in 1922, not long after winning the prestigious award. This event sheds light on some of Einstein’s most famous theories during his lifetime, including Brownian motion, special relativity, and general relativity. Visitors can also learn more about Einstein’s Nobel Prize-winning discovery of the photoelectric effect. All kinds of interactive devices, games, and materials will be featured at the exhibition to help explain a range of scientific principles in an easy-to-understand manner.
