An exquisite ensemble that captivates anyone in an instant. The shakuhachi player Dozan Fujiwara, a top artist in the world of traditional Japanese music who attracts attention both in Japan and internationally, and the elite of one of the world’s most outstanding orchestras, the Vienna Philharmonic, will perform an exquisite ensemble in Fukuoka.
The Steude Trio, led by Volkhard Steude, the concertmaster of the Vienna Philharmonic and a popular violinist as a soloist, is a string trio. Furthermore, Dozan Fujiwara is a shakuhachi player popular with a wide range of audiences, not limited to pure traditional Japanese music, but also actively collaborating with various artists.
The unique and exquisite ensemble, which was highly acclaimed nationwide during the tours in 2011 and 2014, will be performed this year only in Fukuoka, the only place in the world.
This performance aims to let the younger generation experience the thrill of live music in a concert hall, with free admission for children from elementary school age to those under 18 (for seats A). As the number of free invitations is limited, please apply early! (web-only sales)
