In advance of next year’s NHK drama about Kuroda Kanbei, founder of Fukuoka, a night walking tour of Fukuoka Castle is to be held twice by Idea Kyushu Asia – on Nov. 27 and Dec. 8. The tour includes explanations of the important sites at Fukuoka Castle, as well as a short show about Kuroda Kanbei and traditional sword performance on stage. Meeting spot is Fukuoka Castle’s Kaminobashi Gate at 15:30, reservation required (by phone, email or fax, include your name, number of attendees, telephone number, fax, and email address).
