Held each fall, the Fukuoka Citizens’ Arts Festival offers an opportunity for everyone to engage with the arts and serves as a platform for cultural expression by Fukuoka residents. A wide variety of citizen-led events take place throughout the city.
This year’s opening live concert features two special performances:

Part I marks the opening of the Fukuoka Asian Art Museum’s exhibition Vietnam: The Landscapes of Memories with a live performance by popular Vietnamese singer Bao Tram.
*Attendees will receive a discount ticket for the Vietnam: The Landscapes of Memories exhibition.

Part II is a jazz performance held in conjunction with Nakasu JAZZ (Sep. 13 & 14), featuring the FUKUOKA YOUTH JAZZ BIG BAND—composed of junior and senior high school students from Fukuoka—joined by workshop participants specially selected for this event.*

The on-site café will offer limited-time Vietnamese coffee and beer. Related programs include a free áo dài (traditional Vietnamese dress) experience and photo session, scheduled from 10:00 to 18:00.
