56th Fukuoka City Art Competition

This annual art exhibition encourages creative expression by providing Fukuoka residents with a platform to showcase and appreciate locally made artworks. Now in its 56th edition since its launch in 1967, the event invites submissions across seven categories: Japanese painting, Western painting, sculpture, crafts, calligraphy, photography, and design. Winning and selected entries will be announced on Friday, March 7.
