As a pre-event for the “Fukuoka Flower Show” scheduled for spring 2026, Fukuoka City, which promotes the “One Citizen, One Flower” initiative, will host the “Festival of Flowers.” Inspired by the prestigious Chelsea Flower Show in London, this event will feature a garden contest and talks by renowned domestic and international gardeners. Each day will have a unique theme, offering special programs and experiences available only at specific times. The event will also include workshops, flower sales, art and music performances, and pop-up shops by popular restaurants and cafés from Fukuoka. Additionally, one of Kyushu’s largest orchid exhibitions and sales events will take place simultaneously.
