The annual FIS Spring Festival is one of Fukuoka’s international communities’ most anticipated events. Students, teachers, families, and sponsors collaborate on a full day of entertainment, food, games and more, and it’s open to the public. This year’s authentic international cuisine includes Nepalese, Korean, Sri Lankan, Japanese, Chinese, Indian and European snacks and food – in addition to crowd favorites like chargrilled burgers. Enjoy the Street Fair featuring a wide variety of food items, cotton candy, coffee shop, and on-stage performances held by students and local performers.
The lucky number raffle is another big highlight of the event offering chances to win wonderful prizes that the whole family can enjoy such as flights, amusement park passes, and restaurants.
More fun can be found inside the kids’ game area. Being socially responsible the festival is a zero-plastic event, thus no single use plastic will be used across the festival unless it affects the safety and security of the guests.
