A marché featuring organic products that are gentle on both the body and the environment focuses on additive-free products. It is characterized by being held in an easily accessible city center to make organic products more commonplace. This year’s theme is “food loss.” Forty-eight shops working to reduce food loss will participate, including vegetables that are free of chemical fertilizers and pesticides so that they can be eaten down to the skin with peace of mind and processed products made from ingredients that are out of standard and not standard distributed.
On April 29, the film “Mottainai Kitchen” about the food loss problem in Japan will be screened at Elgala Hall, followed by a live talk. (Tickets: over HS ¥2,000, under JHS & ES ¥1,000)
