More than 80 vendors from across Kyushu, as well as Shiga and Taiwan, gather for this two-day outdoor market at Maizuru Park. This edition focuses on “rice and fermentation,” with koji, miso, soy sauce, amazake and other fermented foods alongside gluten-free products, pesticide-free vegetables and organic cosmetics.
Food trucks serve meals to enjoy on site, while the program also includes morning yoga and hands-on workshops. With plenty of lawn space around the market, families can browse, eat and relax picnic-style in the park over the weekend.
