The Fukuoka Softbank Hawks started their preseason schedule with a bang by driving in 14 runs against the Chunichi Dragons on March 2. The win follows on from a successful Spring training camp in Miyazaki. The new season officially gets underway on March 26 and this year Head Coach Kimiyasu Kudo has chosen Takaku! (which merges together the terms for hawk and high) as the team’s slogan. Last season, the Hawks were crowned Pacific League champions before going on to win the Japan Series for the fourth consecutive year! Get behind the team as they push on for even greater success this year!
