The Vietnam Festival, designed to strengthen the bond between Japan and Vietnam, fosters cultural exchange by showcasing Vietnamese food, culture, tourism, and entertainment. The event will feature around 20 booths offering Vietnamese cuisine, beverages, assorted goods, and tourism information. Attendees can also enjoy stage events, including live performances from Vietnamese pop artists, traditional dances by Vietnamese song and dance troupes, and ao dai fashion shows. Though typically held in Tokyo as the only internationally recognized Vietnamese exchange event, this year’s festival will take place in Fukuoka to celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations. Fukuoka is home to the Consulate General of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
