This city-wide promotion celebrates the sister city relationship between Fukuoka and Bordeaux (France) by selling pre-selected Bordeaux wines at 51 Fukuoka restaurants for ¥500 per glass. The five Bordeaux wines – three red and two white wines – were selected as “City Wine Fukuoka 2013” winners by a group of around 500 Fukuoka citizens at an event last November. There is also a stamp rally with three check points – collect them all and receive a free bottle of City Wine Fukuoka 2013 (limited number, participants must be over 20 years to claim prize).
