Anime short film Munen Namie-machi Shobodan Monogatari portrays the experiences of Fukushima firefighters who attempted to rescue the victims of the Great East Japan Earthquake and subsequent tsunami. On Jun. 3 (Fri.), there will be a screening of the film, and Naoshi Saito, a victim from Miyagi Pref. (neighboring prefecture to Fukushima, suffered over 600 deaths), will talk about his experience before the screening.
