Here’s a unique chance to partake in a full moon party aboard the famous sightseeing boats (donko-bune) of Yanagawa, complete with an English-speaking guide! Enjoy Japanese food, sake, rice wine, and English tea while learning the traditional Japanese artistic game of senryu, writing Japanese poetry, and doing fireworks on the small boat as it floats down the canals. The event is aimed towards English-speaking residents of Japan, foreign visitors to Japan, and Japanese people who want to enjoy the event in English. The boat tour will be guided by charismatic interpreter Ms. Keiko Arita. In case of rain, the event contents will be changed to “tea ceremony experience” and “furoshiki lecture”.
