The eve party for BAYFES takes place inside the 70-meter-high observation room of Hakata Port Tower, the only remaining structure of “Hakata Paradise”. Once known as Kyushu’s largest leisure complex, Hakata Paradise was home to roller coasters, accommodations, and hot springs, and Hakata Port Tower now stands as its last trace.
This special DJ night in a unique setting has become a yearly highlight and, starting this year, admission is by advance application only. The lineup features Ken Yokoyama from Crazy Ken Band, Hibiki Tokiwa, and Lil Summer. With Fukuoka’s night skyline as the backdrop, only successful applicants will be admitted. Applications are open until Aug 20.
