53 shops will exhibit and sell some of Hokkaido’s yummiest foods! This year’s theme is “rare and limited”, so it’ll be a rare chance to see and taste many items. Several of the foods will only be available in Fukuoka during this event, such as huge crabs from Kegani Kobo (only ¥8,640 per 950g!), Tokachi-brand Japanese roasted, aged beef from Sapporo Hoheikan Chubom (¥1,620), and broiled sea urchin from Uni Murakami (¥3,240). Those with a hankering for something sweet might like to visit Fuwamochi-tei, a donut and bagel shop (making their Kyushu premiere), or Fruits Planet to try their Raspberry Christmas Crepes (¥600) – the raspberries for which are grown on the company’s own farm.
