Iimori Jinja Shrine Yabusame
The Yabusame at Iimori Jinja Shrine is a traditional autumn event that has been held annually since 1838. During the event, archers in Kamakura period costume shoot and hit wooden targets from horseback. Broken targets, believed to be a symbol of good fortune, can be bought by spectators for ¥1,000.
