Began in 2023 as the successor to the long-running Imajyuku Chamber of Commerce Festival. Now in its fourth year, the one-day event brings together local restaurants and traveling kitchen cars from across Japan, creating a lively gathering in the seaside town of Imajyuku.
Food stalls offer a wide range of options—from burgers and curry to sweets—making it easy to stop by for a relaxed brunch or an afternoon coffee and dessert. The market area features antique goods, vintage tools, books, and handmade crafts. Family-friendly activities include marine experiences, workshops using reclaimed materials, and a children’s mikoshi procession. On stage, local children’s performances are joined by live bands, live painting, and DJ sets. A highlight is the procession of the Imajyuku Aoki Shishimai, an Intangible Folk Cultural Property, which moves through the shrine grounds and offers a glimpse of the area’s enduring traditions.
