The Okawamachiyama area in Imari City, Saga Prefecture, is known for its steep inclines where approximately 30 potters use their ceramic making techniques dating back to the Edo period. Enjoy the Imari spring scenery as you visit each of the potters! People from afar attend this festival to take advantage of bargain prices of the beautiful ceramic pieces. An exhibition with local and international ceramic art is also on display at the Imari and Aritayaki Traditional Industry Hall (Dento Sangyo Kaikan).
