For 30 years, SUNSET LIVE helped shape Fukuoka’s music and culture scene from its seaside home in Itoshima. Carrying that spirit forward, the new festival INSPIRATION by SUNSET LIVE will be held this year at INN THE PARK Fukuoka inside Uminonakamichi Seaside Park.
SUNSET LIVE was always about more than music. Its appeal came from people gathering outdoors and connecting through food, art, markets and live performances, with the relaxed, open atmosphere becoming as much a part of the experience as the artists on stage.
The new Uminonakamichi setting offers a spacious location surrounded by sea and greenery. Alongside live music, the festival brings together art, market stalls and food, creating a place where families and friends can spend the day while experiencing a cross-section of Fukuoka culture.
From Itoshima to Uminonakamichi, the location may have changed, but the festival continues the communal, free-spirited character that defined SUNSET LIVE. This two-day autumn event offers a new setting in which to experience that legacy.
