Donated to his hometown of Kurume City by Shojiro Ishibashi, the founder of Bridgestone, the Ishibashi Bunka Center is renowned not only for its cultural significance but also for its beautiful gardens. The center is a particularly popular destination for rose enthusiasts, boasting an impressive collection of 400 varieties and 2,600 individual rose plants.
The gardens come alive with blooms in different seasons, and the fall roses are at their peak from early to late November. Not only can visitors enjoy the stunning visual display, but the center also offers rose saplings for sale. Moreover, the venue features rose-inspired cuisine and cakes, immersing guests in a rose-themed experience.
