The Ishibashi Bunka Center has the largest rose garden in Fukuoka. The peak season lasts for about a month starting in early May with 2,600 roses of over 400 varieties. During Golden Week, many events will also be held, including live music performances, rose workshops, displays of rose arrangements and kiribana (flower cutting). There will also be a market and cafe for refreshments.
