The Pizza Festival unites the vibrant, festive spirit of Italy with the fresh, natural ingredients of Fukuoka. Some of Japan’s top pizza chefs will gather under Tomohide Shitama, owner of the renowned Pizzeria Da Gaetano from Ischia Island, the birthplace of pizza. Using ingredients imported from Naples, they will craft authentic Neapolitan pizzas in Italian-made wood-fired ovens. The menu includes four types of pizza (¥2,000 each), produced in collaboration with the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana, and a special pizza limited to 50 servings per day (¥3,000). Additionally, eight popular Italian restaurants from Fukuoka will serve food, along with Italian wines and draft beer.
