The 36th Japanese calligraphy exhibition returns this year with more than 23,000 eye-catching pieces of calligraphy produced by the general public. Their works will be displayed at eight venues all around Japan including Tokyo, Kansai, Kyushu, Chubu, Chugoku, Shikoku, Tohoku, and Hokkaido. Visitors to the Kyushu exhibition will be treated to a selection of refined, classical pieces such as handwritten texts and seal engravings.
