Explore the renowned sake breweries of Jojima, celebrated for its high-quality water and rice and the advantageous water transport provided by the Chikugo River. Join our sake brewery tour event and travel between five esteemed breweries—Ikekame, Chikushi no Homare, Hana no Tsuyu, Hiyoku Tsuru, and Mizuho Nishiki—via a complimentary shuttle bus that departs every 30 minutes. Upon arrival at each brewery, purchase a sake tasting cup with tickets. Each ticket allows for one serving of sake, with options to try higher-grade sakes by using multiple tickets, up to a maximum of 11 servings. In addition to sake tasting, each brewery offers snacks and sake for purchase. For enthusiasts wanting to indulge further, additional sets of 7 tickets are available for ¥1,000. At the “Sake no Takeya” shop, immerse yourself in the heritage of sake brewing with a display of a Taisho-era sake brewery model, woodblock prints, and live traditional songs performed by the Chikugo Sake Brewing Song Preservation Society.
