The June kabuki performances are inaugurated with a unique spectacle where actors board boats and give brief performances as they sail along the river near the theater. This cherished tradition is making a comeback this year for the first time in four years. Fourteen esteemed Kabuki actors will be onboard for this year’s event. As snowflakes flutter down and vibrant musical scores fill the air, spectators lining the streets will interact with the actors in a uniquely Kabuki-style exchange. Feel free to wave and cheer them on, adding to the excitement of the event!
