Approximately 50 eateries offering delicious dishes from the Kansai region will be present on the 8th floor of Hakata Hankyu during this exciting food fair. This promises to be a great chance to discover more about the food culture of Kobe, Kyoto, Osaka and Nara, collectively known as the Kansai region. Visitors can check out a cooking demonstration of takoyaki (octopus balls) and sample a range of tasty treats, such as traditional Japanese matcha-flavored confectionery. There’s also a section for diners to sit down and eat-in. Make sure to stop by and enjoy kushikatsu skewers or a bowl of ramen and kakinoha sushi (persimmon leaf sushi) which originated in the inland area of Nara back in the Edo period.
