Kintsugi is a traditional Japanese technique of repairing cracked pottery with lacquer dusted and powdered gold. Other metals such as silver, copper, and tin can also be used. The technique is used for repairing not only expensive ceramics but also everyday tableware. Creations by the Kintsugi Kougeikai (kintsugi craft association) will be on display, as well as ceramics and Western-style glassware. Kintsugi demonstrations every day from 14:00 too.
