Last year, Kokura Castle was renovated for the first time in 30 years and had been upgraded as an experience-based tourist spot with a new video theater and photo-taking spots. At this event, which began last year as a new autumn event in Kitakyushu, about 16,000 bamboo lanterns are lit in the castle tower. The area around Kokura Castle creates a unique atmosphere. If you bring a lighter, you can help light candles at the designated time.
