Kyushu’s largest manga and anime festival, KPF 2025, marks its 10th edition this year. Since 2014, the event has promoted Kitakyushu as a hub of pop culture. Highlights include anime exhibition booths, game demos, talk shows with top voice actors, and special live performances. The popular cosplay event draws participants from across Japan, with photo spots at unique locations like the grassy Asano Shiokaze Park—known for its wind and solar power features—and other normally restricted areas.
