Kumamon, the beloved mascot of Kumamoto Prefecture in Japan, is excited to announce his birthday celebration event “Kumamon Birthday Festival 2023.” The two-day event, taking place on March 11 and 12, will have a traditional Japanese festival theme and feature a fashion show, participatory challenge, special guest appearances, stalls, a kids’ square, and Kumamon-themed food and products. There will also be a special event at Kumamon Square, as well as a “Kumamon Birthday Festival Week Project” from March 4 to 10.
