12th Kyushu Biggest Fireworks Festival

START:

END:

An astonishing 22,000 fireworks will fill the night sky in one of the largest displays in western Japan. This year’s highlight is a breathtaking showcase of shaku-dama—massive shells that explode at an altitude of 330 meters with a diameter of approximately 280 to 320 meters—each crafted by one of 30 of Japan’s top pyrotechnic companies. The grand finale features a five-minute super starmine, with 5,000 fireworks launched in a continuous display that envelops the sky overhead.
