Kyushu Debate Open is the only international debate tournament in Japan held in British Parliamentary-style. This year it’s back with approximately 150 participants including 50 overseas participants who will discuss the theme “SDGs” (Sustainable Development Goals), which was proposed by the United Nations to alleviate poverty and hunger. The executive committee is now raising funds to support the operating expenses and debate resources for high schools and universities. Both the participants as well as the audience can learn something from the tournament and improve their debating and communication skills.
