Seventeen wineries from across Kyushu gather in front of Hakata Station for a wine exhibition and tasting event highlighting the region’s diversity. From long-established producers to emerging winemakers, visitors can sample wines by the glass while speaking directly with the makers, gaining insight into how local climate, history, and communities shape Kyushu wine.
This year marks the 15th anniversary of JR Hakata City and the full opening of the Kyushu Shinkansen. To commemorate the milestone, a limited run of 600 glass-inclusive tickets (¥2,000, including five ¥100 drink tickets) will be sold at the main booth. Food and snack stalls designed to pair with the wines are also planned.
