Bayside Place Hakata Aquarium is looking for participants to paint sea turtles, the symbol of the Aquarium! (until September 21) Under the supervision of James Dover, an artist living in Itoshima, participants will jointly paint a large “sea turtle” on the 2nd floor of Bayside Parking Lot No. 1, located right under the Hakata Port Tower.
Two sessions per day will be held on October 1 and 2, involving a total of 120 people, 30 for each. This hands-on art event will be held as a FaN Week event of Fukuoka Art Next promoted by Fukuoka City, and participants will be presented with a bathing ticket for “Namiha no Yu,” a hot spring facility in Bayside Place Hakata.
