A lonely hearts event will be held on Orono Island on Sep 1st. The event is organized by Fukuoka City’s fishery association. “We want single ladies between the ages of 20~40 to spend a relaxing time with the young fishermen on our lovely island”, says the organizer. Orono Island is located 40km from Meinohama Port, Nishi-ku Fukuoka City. It takes 1 hour and 10 mins to get there by ferry. Fourteen single men between the ages of 20~40 from the island will participate. Any single women who want to join this event should be at the Meinohama Port waiting room at 8am on Sep 1st.
