Tenjin Chuo Park will be welcoming approximately 50 companies from Hita, Oita prefecture this weekend to exhibit and sell their products (both to businesses and the general public). Products will include traditional crafts such as the Hita geta (wooden clogs) from Shinwasangyo and bamboo chopsticks from Ouchi Kougei. Food stalls will offer up famous Hita foods, including delicious ramen from the famous ramen shop Rairaiken and Hita yakisoba (fried chow mein noodles). Don’t miss stage performances like the Gakumeki drum performance – Gakumeki drums are also a traditional craft of Hita!
