Award winning designer, photographer and longtime kimono collector Magdalen Méan exhibits selected photographs of her collection of kimono from the Taisho and early Showa eras. Somewhere between historical reconstruction and fashion photography, her images explore kimono in their true context as elements of fashion, history, and concepts of elegance.
