A colorful and grand festival of over 600 years at Miyajidake Shrine, celebrating the coming of autumn. On Sep. 21 and 23, witness the goshinko gyoretsu, a 2 km procession of people in historical costume carrying portable shrines. On Sep. 22, watch the fireworks display. Taiko drum performances and dedication dances, too.
