Munakata Shrine Spring Festival

At this annual springtime festival, the Munakata Shrine preservation society will open up some of the shrine’s most prized possessions and ancient documents for public viewing. The airing process also helps prevent damage from insects or mold. Now is the season when farmers start to plant seeds, so you can expect to see many people in attendance across the two days praying for a bountiful harvest!
