Join us for the special Citizens’ Appreciation Day held on the 2nd Saturday of every month at Nagahama Fish Market, where parts of the usually off-limits market are opened to the public. Enjoy a variety of events, including the sale of fresh seafood and processed products, demonstrations of professional fish filleting techniques, and a fish exhibition corner.
Don’t miss the popular tuna dismantling show starting at 9:30 am, where a whole tuna is skillfully cut with a large knife and then immediately sold. Due to the high demand for fresh fish, including tuna, it’s a good idea to arrive early.
