Since 1998, Nicolai Bergmann, a Danish floral artist, has produced art combining European techniques with Japanese sensibility. For this event, around 100 of his contemporary works are displayed in specially made vases at three shrines, the most famous of which is Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine.
