For nine days each year, the streets of Hakata and Tenjin are transformed into a colorful floral spectacle! A “Tulip Road” adorned with 50,000 tulips and other seasonal flowers blooms along a walking route connecting Hakata Station, Tenjin, and Maizuru Park. The main venue, located on the west side of Fukuoka City Hall at the Fureai Hiroba, will host exhibitions of flower beds created by citizens, as well as a gardening contest. Food trucks will also be available, adding to the festive atmosphere.
