This exhibition with the theme of oppai (breasts) is organized by a group artists based in the Chikuho area, all of whom are mothers. Their art is based on three perspectives: breasts as a symbol of motherhood, breasts representing femininity and sexuality, and the risks of associated diseases. All profits from this event will be donated to a charity for the prevention and public awareness of breast cancer. This year, there will be a special photo exhibition featuring breast cancer survivors as well as a lecture on the connection between breasts and Buddhism by a Buddhist monk. Oppai-themed food, drink, and goods such as bags and shirts will be on sale. Special events including an Oppai Marche (market) with 12 stalls, live performances and more will be held on Oct. 7 and 8.
