Launched in 2007 and attracting around 4,000 visitors each year, 2013 marks the sixth anniversary of the Ehon (Picture Book) Museum. Open for less than one month – the museum offers a space for children and their parents to immerse themselves in the world of picture books together. This year’s theme is “Seasons and Food”, with approx. 1,000 picture books available to read in the museum space. Popular children’s authors Hata Koshiro, Eric Carle, and Kako Satoshi contributed their work to decorate the museum. As well as reading, there are workshops available and an exhibit by NTT showcasing the group’s digital contents for children.
